Munk School Boyfriend "Not Not Into Eugenics."

MUNK SCHOOL -- The Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy is known as one of the most prestigious schools for any person looking to go into politics, civil service, or consulting in Canada. Studying within its very walls at the moment could be some of the most influential people in the country in a few years. Naturally then, it also plays host to a number of people whose views could very, very, very generously be described as interesting.

One such interesting student is Jackson Galton, a graduate student in his first year of the Munk School’s Masters of Public Policy program. The Boundary was initially informed of those views by his girlfriend of several months, Lana Smed. “I didn’t really notice it at first. I guess that it was  weird when he went on about how ‘ideal’ the shape of my skull was and how much he loved the distance between my eyes, but I thought he was just trying to compliment me,” she told The Boundary, “Then he started talking about how we need to increase the proportion of people with ‘healthy genes,’ which was a major turn-off.”

Maria Lopez, a friend of Smed provided further comments. “Yeah, I was suspicious when he had ‘Moderate’ on his Hinge profile.”

“Well, I’m not not into eugenics,” Galton told The Boundary after closing his copy of The Bell Curve, “I am a libertarian, however, I just want to make sure that the gene pool is good enough for everyone to enjoy their freedom.”

At press time, the couple was occupied, as Galton was poorly lecturing Smed on Social Darwinism.
