UofT Confessions Picked Up as True Crime Show on CTV

Theft. Stalking. Vehicular manslaughter. These are only some of the myriad crimes which University of Toronto students have admitted to on the popular Instagram account @uoftconfessions, famous for documenting everything from students cheating on their partners to committing criminal acts of public indecency with them.

As a result of its popularity, CTV has now added to its roster of shows by bringing UofT Confessions on board as a true crime series, where the admissions made will be investigated and publicised on late night cable TV and streamed on Crave.

“This way, once you’re done rewatching Hollander getting fucked in Heated Rivalry, you can tab over to watch our UofT students get fucked by their own poor choices.” Said one CTV representative

When asked whether the investigations might discourage people from sharing their stories, a spokesperson for UofT confessions told the Boundary “We’re not worried. UofT students are lonely enough that they have no one to tell the things they want off their chest, and have little enough foresight that we’re sure confessions will keep coming in regardless of the consequences.”
